This was part of the I-80 Moore interchange project that was done by ww.clyde for the state of Nevada DOT. It required blasting of several rock slopes to make room for a new truck lane on west side of Pequop summit. One of the cuts required a mesh system. Apex installed 27-20’ cable anchors along the top of slope and ran a top cable that terminated then started again every 6 anchors. Apex then hung a TECO drapery mesh system along the face of the slope. Project took about 5 weeks and was finished on time and under budget. Drilling 60 hours. Mesh hung 60,000 sq. Feet. Crane time 2.5 days.
